BONNA 6-12 is a follow-up formula for ages 6-12 months.
The use of follow-up formula must only be upon the advice of a health professional. The unnecessary and improper use of this product may be dangerous to your child's health. There is likelihood that pathogenic microorganisms will be in this product when it is prepared and used inappriately.
Breastmilk is the best for babies up to 2 years of age and beyond. There is no substitute for breastmilk. Follow-up formula should not be introduced before the sixth month of life. Infants six months onwards should be given fresh, indigenous and natural foods in combination with continued breastfeeding.
How To Prepare:
1. Wash your hands carefully.
2. Wash bottle, teat and cap thoroughly. Boil for five minutes. Leave covered until use. Wash the scoop and dry before use.
3. Boil drinking water and allow to cool.
4. Strictly follow the feeding table. First, pour water into the bottle. Then, add powder using only the scoop provided, carefully levelling off the extra powder.
5. After each use, place the bag and scoop in an air tight container. Make sure the scoop is dry. Store it in a cool and dry place. Use within 4 weeks of opening.
6. Cap the feeding bottle, and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved. Check temperature before feeding the baby.
